Join us during the 11:00 a.m. service on April 29th for Confirmation Sunday as we welcome the young adults as members of First Presbyterian Church!
On Saturday, April 28th at 5:00 p.m. all are welcome in the Sanctuary for a special session meeting to hear each confirmand's statement of faith. Following that will be a closed dinner (for confirmation students, their parents/siblings, and covenant partners) which will begin at 6:30 p.m. in the Commons. The confirmation class worshipped at Tifereth Israel Synagogue (Conservative) on Friday, April 13th. Rabbi Emily Barton invited our group to experience prayers of blessing kiddush which is said over the Challah (bread) and the wine after a prayer service on Shabbat. Confirmation Sunday is April 29th during the 11 a.m. service. There are 12 youth planning to join. Learning about the Jewish faith is one of the enrichment activities that occurs during the confirmation year.
