Amber is a native of Fort Dodge and joined First Presbyterian Church as a sophomore in high school. She has helped with Wednesday Night Live, worked at the Presbyterian Camp on Okoboji (now Lakeshore Center on Okoboji) one summer, and served as an interim youth pastor at FPC for a year. Amber graduated from Buena Vista University in Fort Dodge with a degree in elementary education. She spent time as a substitute teacher for the FDCSD before being blessed with her current position as preschool director at KidZone. Teaching is something she loves to do. Being able to teach children about God's love and taking that journey with her students each school year is an amazing thing to be a part of. Amber and her husband Bryan have been blessed with three beautiful boys, Brecken, Caden and Cole. When she's not chasing after her boys, (which she wouldn't have any other way!) she enjoys going camping and relaxing with her family.
