As a storyteller and artist, Rebecca has always deeply loved the words of the Old and New Testament.  It was these stories that compelled her to go to seminary. She moved from North Central Iowa to pursue a Masters of Divinity at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary.  After graduating in 2015, she stayed on to work towards a Masters of Theology, where her thesis focused on the dietary restrictions of the Old Testament and their implications on Christianity today. Rebecca has guest-preached for numerous congregations, led spoken word poetry workshops, co-led a panel on justice through the food system, and performed scripture verbatim.  When she isn't doing any of that, she is most likely crocheting, covering everything she owns in paint, trying to grow plants, ignoring most recipes while cooking, and scouring thrift shops for unique finds.
