First Presbyterian Church Fort Dodge

There are often beautiful flowers in the chancel area during worship on Sunday mornings at 8:45am. These are given by individuals or families in our church to mark a special moment in their life: the birthday of a loved one, a wedding anniversary, or another similar moment. If this is something you’d like to do, please sign up on the chart in the narthex (which is the area to the north of the sanctuary). There is a big flower chart on the east wall- you can’t miss it. Once you’ve signed up for a particular Sunday, please call or e-mail Traci in the church office to tell her what wording you would liked placed in the bulletin. (example: The flowers this morning are given by Austin and Sara Hill in honor of their son Everett’s first birthday on July 5th.) Then it’s your job to contact Becker Florist or another florist of your choosing to pick out and pay for the flower arrangement. This can be as little as $25.00. Becker Florist will deliver the flowers to the church, and you would clarify with other local florists on how the flowers would get to the church by 8:30am Sunday morning. After worship, you may take the flowers home, or the Deacon of the day will deliver them to someone in our church who would appreciate them.
